Mailing Lists

Mailing list is an email system that allow its members to discuss and share information easily. Mailing list is known as one of the most convenient technological tools to promote border-less discussion. By seeing this advantage and to make discussion and knowledge sharing of our programs more widely reach out to our audiences, the Open Institute sets up two discussion groups on Gender and ICT and E-Learning development.

The Gender and ICT mailing list has more than 400 members, those who are working on gender related issues, and with 1000 discussion postings. The number of members and postings keep increasing from time to time.

To become a member of this group, simply compose an empty email then send it to gender-subscribe[@]lists.open.org.kh. You will then receive a confirmation email and related instruction regarding your subscription. After that you can communicate to the existing members of the list by sending your email to gender[@]lists.open.org.kh. By becoming a member of this list, you can greatly benefit from our group by receiving regularly updated information on gender and development and participating in the discussion around this issue.

If in any occasion that you would no longer like to be a member of this list, you can unsubscribe from this list by sending a blank email to gender-unsubscribe[@]lists.open.org.kh.

The E-Learning mailing list has more than 170 members, those who are working in the education sector and e-learning area, and with 200 discussion postings. The number of members and postings keep increasing from time to time.

To become a member of this group, simply compose an empty email then send it to elearning-subscribe[@]lists.open.org.kh. You will then receive a confirmation email and related instruction regarding your subscription. After that you can communicate to the existing members of the list by sending your email to elearning[@]lists.open.org.kh. By becoming a member of this list, you can greatly benefit from our group by receiving regularly updated information on e-learning and development and participating in the discussion around this issue.
