Interested in advancing the technology at your NGO? The Women Program of the Open Institute (OI) in collaboration with an Indian NGO called the Digital Empowerment Foundation (DEF) and Public Interest Registry (.ORG) will be hosting a free one-day eNGO workshop in Phnom Penh on 29 November, 2013 centered on helping NGOs to increase their presence online. The event will provide training for 30-50 grassroots NGOs who have not yet adopted digital and ICT into their work and perhaps may not even have a website or who wish to learn more about the important tool of ICT in order to utilize it more effectively. All NGOs can be a part of eNGO Network which is the largest network of online NGOs in Asia, Africa & India. www.pirengo.org

During the training we will help NGOs develop skills that will empower them to use ICT to increase their efficiency and enhance their ability contribute to improve Cambodian society. We will also be offering to build free websites for any NGO that does not yet have one and will offer to provide them with a free domain and hosting for one year. Any NGOs interested in attending and increasing their online identity should provide us content for your own website so that we can create it for you by downloading our template in the attached file.
