The SPICE Program supports TechCamp Phnom Penh

The USAID-funded SPICE program, implemented by the Open Institute, is pleased to be one of the supporters of Tech Camp Phnom Penh events for the coming two-day technology conference. We are proud to bring USAID as one of the partners of Tech Camp. Tech Camp Phnom Penh will start on March 13 and 14, 2013 at Norton University. SPICE supports Tech Camp because we want to empower and capacity building to increase awareness of new innovative technologies among youth, for them to be able to access information easily and participate in the development of Cambodia society. According to its website, Tech Camp Phnom Penh will bring together international/local technology experts and highly-motivated participants from NGOs and Civil Society Organizations throughout the region.  The Camp will provide NGOs and CSOs with training to harness the latest ( ICT ) information and communications technologies to help them address some of the most pressing social challenges in Cambodia.
